While Granny’s still in Hooterville, Jethro hires an Italian chef to do their cooking.
Granny’s @ Drucker’s telling him about how she used her tonic on Steve & Betty Jo’s baby after discovering that Boy (the Petticoat Junction dog) was in the baby crib, wearing a baby bonnet as well. Thinking that her tonic turned the dog into their baby.
Granny sees the baby for the first time & thought it worked wonders!
Sam Drucker arrives @ the Shady Rest with a telegram for Granny. The message was from Jethro saying the family’s starving & misses her. So after riding on a horse, driving a motorcycle, getting on an airplane, parachuting down to Beverly Hills, she finds the Italian cook feeding the Clampetts. Granny chases after Jethro over that phony telegram!
